Yet now, for reasons unknown, the Rift roars with life.

A crack like a thunderclap shatters the void, and from its depths surge vox-echoes: ancient distress calls, coded sigils of lost civilizations, even the unmistakable growl of daemonic laughter. Within the Imperium, the disturbance becomes known by a more local name whispered by voidfarers and rogue traders alike—

According to the tales, drifting amidst the Rift is a derelict brewing complex, an impossible relic pulled from some forgotten age. Its shattered bulk—equal parts manufactorum, monastery, and fermentation hive—seems to reappear and disappear like a mirage. Some call it a holy site. Some call it a weapon. Some believe it to be a trap laid by powers too ancient for mortal memory.

To the rest of the galaxy, it has acquired a simpler name:

Missing Falls Brewery.

It is said that its cask-vaults contain liquids capable of igniting a star, healing grievous wounds, or bending the veil of reality itself. And if such legends were not enough, augur sweeps now confirm a second structure orbiting the ghost brewery—a sub-station marked with arcane sigils resembling the crest of the ancient guild once known as JAC.
